Ideal for movement exercise, Pilates, yoga, and myofascial massage, the Slings Myofascial Training Tools can be purchased as a kit or separately. Developed by Karin Gurtner, these tools are perfect for home, studio, therapeutic use, personal training, group classes and for Slings Myofascial Training (see below to learn more).

Slings Training Tool Kit (LE2005)

The full kit includes Slings Massage Domes (2), Slings Massage Balls (2), Slings Trigger Balls (2), Slings Kneeling Pad (1), and Slings Carrying Bag (1). Each product (or pair of products) is also sold separately:

Slings Massage Domes (LE2002):

Sold as a set of two, the domes feature rounded knobs for gentle self-massage on arms, legs, shoulders back and the head to help increase blood flow and improve circulation and proprioception. They can also be used as a support prop with the flat side down to help increase stability, strength, balance and alignment. 4 ¾′′ DIA.

Slings Massage Balls (LE2001):

Sold as a set of two, the massage balls can be used for gentle massage to stimulate fascia and muscles, release myofascial tension, increase blood flow and improve circulation. Adjust inflation level with the integrated valve. 3.5′′ (9cm) DIA.

Slings Trigger Balls (LE2003):

Sold as a set of two, the smooth surface and non-slip texture of these balls makes them ideal for massaging the feet, hands, shoulders and the sacroiliac joint. The small size allows you to pinpoint specific areas for deep, precise trigger point relief. 1 ½′′ DIA.

Slings Kneeling Pad (LE2004):

This soft kneeling pad can be used for additional support on a yoga or exercise mat and can be placed under the knees to reduce discomfort while kneeling or lunging. It can also be rolled up and used under the head, neck, pelvis or abdomen during exercise. 20′′L x 9 ½′′W x ½′′H.

Slings Myofascial Training

Developed by Karin Gurtner, Slings Myofascial Training is a certification program for movement professionals, body workers, and therapists who want to broaden their skills in anatomy and structural integration through movement. This holistic movement concept provides new tools professionals can use in classes or in practice. The program aims for structural balance, resilience and self-awareness through movement. The full Slings Training Tool Kit includes everything necessary for Slings Myofascial Training.

Anatomy Trains in Motion

Officially recognized by Tom Myers, Anatomy Trains in Motion is based on his Anatomy Trains concept of interconnected anatomy. The course is a module in itself and serves as the foundation of Slings Myofascial Training. The course focuses on the dynamic interplay of muscles and fascia in movement and on strengthening the good in the body to address imbalance, injuries and pathologies from a place of strength.
